Fire And Safety Education

While October is Fire Prevention Month, the Elon Fire Department wants you to learn and practice fire safety all year around.

Through a partnership with the National Fire Safety Council, the Elon Fire Department provides training for groups of all ages on fire safety, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, creating an exit plan, and so much more. Below are several flyers that provide information on smoke detectors, fire safety in the home, a home safety checklist, and escape planning.

The Elon Fire Department constantly tries to make sure every home with children has a smoke detector. If you currently have children and do not have a smoke detector in your home, please call us at 336.584.9190. We will be happy to provide one for you.

If you are interested in a fire safety class, fire extinguisher training, fire prevention house, or a public appearance of Fire Pup, please fill out this request form.
